Finn Teach

Finn Teach was born in Bar Harbor in 1985 and spent his adolescence painting on Mount Desert Island, surrounded by Acadia National Park.
He attended Colby College and graduated in 2007 with degrees in Sociology and Art, with a concentration in oil painting.
Upon graduation from Colby, he received the Charles Hovey Pepper Prize in Art for meritorious work in painting.
Finn’s work has appeared in the Maine College of Art & Design’s Collect Exhibit, Argosy Gallery in Bar Harbor, and throughout Maine in numerous art shows.
His subjects are inspired by the coastal, rural, and urban landscape, and by everyday objects.
Finn has produced a large body of work, including landscapes, still-lifes, figures, seascapes and cityscapes.
Finn currently lives in Portland, Maine.
