Katherine Noble Churchill

Katherine Noble Churchill grew up riding event (jumping and dressage) horses in central Maine and now lives and works as a professional artist in Bar Harbor, painting landscapes and horses both plein air and in her studio.

She graduated with a B.S. degree in Pre-Veterinary Science from University of Maine at Orono, which included many elective art courses.

She continues to study drawing, painting, experimenting with design and enjoys working with clients to develop unique, meaningful paintings for them.

Her colorful work is inspired by views & animals of Mount Desert Island, Acadia National Park and travel.

She accepts equine paintings commissions, a specialty after having years of riding and horse anatomy experience.

A current member of the American Impressionist Society and American Academy of Equine Art.
