Cynthia Cetlin

I am a studio jeweler and fiber artist. I received my MFA in Metalsmithing from SUNY New Paltz, and was a Professor of Metals and 3D Design for many years at Ohio Wesleyan University.

I have relocated to Lamoine, ME, where I have a jewelry and a fiber studio. While I still create jewelry in silver and mixed media, I have in recent years been focussing on natural dyeing, sculptural, wet felting, and most recently, botanical printing.

I am thrilled, after spending half of my life so far stranded in the Midwest, to be back in New England, living in Downeast Maine. For many years, my work has been inspired by this area’s coastal landscape and plant life.
